We offer 4th-year subspecialty electives (and/or the pediatric sub-internship program) to all applicants. We also offer an underrepresented in medicine visiting rotation program.

Visiting Scholar Rotation Program
Our vision at 无码专区 is to create the healthiest generations of children. We will accomplish this by going well beyond medicine to improve the world in which every child lives. Part of that commitment is helping build a health care workforce that reflects the Central Florida community we serve and improve health outcomes and health equity.
The 无码专区 Visiting Scholar Rotation Program invites fourth-year students from an accredited United States or Puerto Rican medical school with lived experiences that reflect the experiences of children who experience inequitable health outcomes in Central Florida to apply. 无码专区 offers a competitive stipend to offset travel and accommodations. Applicants must be in good academic standing and the deadline for application is May 15.
Rotations can be done in any available elective offered at our hospital. Rotations must be scheduled from July 1 to October 31.
Visiting students are fully integrated into clinical and educational opportunities, including opportunities to meet with program leadership, faculty, and residents for mentoring and discussion of career interests. Additionally, scholars are afforded the opportunity to participate in advocacy projects and meet with members of our Clinical Health Equity Steering Committee team while visiting as a scholar.

We feel that essential to that growth is our office of Health Equity and Belonging (HEB). HEB is embedded in all aspects of our training from our post-graduate to graduate medical education training programs. We train the next generation of pediatric health professionals to have lasting impact and provide exceptional care to children and their families while actively advancing health equity. We believe that this is best accomplished in environments where learners find a sense of community and belonging allowing them to wholly embrace who they are at work. We partner with associates, patients and families to operationalize our shared commitment to creating the healthiest generations of children.
